DOUG: WHAT HAPPENED TO TRUCKER STEVE YOUNG IS SOMETHING NO ONE WANTS TO EVER HAVE HAPPEN TO THEM.

STEVE YOUNG: I TURNED MY HEAD AS FAST AS I COULD, OUT OF THE WAY.

AND MANAGED TO SAFELY STOP THE TRUCK WITHOUT INJURING OR POTENTIALLY KILLING ANYBODY ELSE ON THE ROA DOUG: THANKFULLY HIS FACE WAS , NOT HIT BY THE SHATTERED GLASS.

ALTHOUGH STEVE’S NEXT THOUGHT WAS, WHAT CAME THROUGH HIS WINDSHIELD?

STEVE YOUNG: I LOOKED ON MY FLOOR, AND THERE IS AN EIGHT INCH DIAMETER CHUNK OF CONCRETE SITTING ON THE FLOOR OF MY TRUCK.

STEVE YOUNG: EITHER IT WAS ALREADY IN THE ROAD AND A VEHICLE CAUGHT IT, WHICH THEN KICKED IT UP IN FRONT OF ME, OR THE OTHER VARIABLE WOULD BE, PERHAPS, IT GOT STUCK BETWEEN A SET OF DUAL TIRES ON A BIG TRUCK.

DOUG: EITHER WAY, STEVE SAYS HE’S LUCKY TO BE ALIVE AND MIGHT JUST PLAY THE LOTTERY.

STEVE YOUNG: THERE’S NO DOUBT, IF I DIDN’T GET OUT OF THE WAY OR AT LEAST SHIFT MY BODY FAST ENOUGH, IT WOULD HAVE PROBABLY HIT ME SQUARE ON THE HEAD.

DOUG: AMAZINGLY, STEVE ONLY SUFFERED A NASTY BRUISE AND CUT THROUGH HIS RIGHT SHOULDER.
